Great to hear George Elliott Clarke saying “Welcome, Welcome…” many times! Thanks to Lillian Allen for her great “Anne Szumigalski Lecture”, no wonder she is smiling. Glad to attend workshop, readings and panels… No surprise, the Awards night is always the highlight!!! All nominees and winners of the Pat Lowther, Gerald Lampert and Raymond Souster Memorial Awards and the Sheri-D Golden Beret Award for spoken word were super, the hosts must have felt the excitement, but they did their best to keep to their script. For those three days, we were very busy with meeting new friends and renewing old friendship… For more please click poets.ca.
