The soul should always stand ajar, ready to welcome the ecstatic experiences. –Emily Dickinson
It was my first time attending the West Chester Poetry Conference. At the beginning, I was surprised to know that a lot of poets have attended it many times. But by witnessing how well-organized and stimulating all the panels and readings were, I too hope to return next year. In addition, there was wonderful food, great music (Yes, Iris DeMent), and fun with hanging out with all kinds of poets and sharing poetry…I made new friends, workshopped my new manuscript and brought many great books back. Thanks!
Well, well, hanging with poets is fun!
Beyond all the excitement, I was very glad to meet and talk with Sir Andrew Motion, also gave him my translation of one of his poems, The Attic, into Chinese
Luckily my photo of Sir Andrew Motion was used by Cynthia Haven for her article for Stanford University‘s website: The Book Haven.
Thanks Chinese media for support
